Monday, July 24, 2006, 16:38 I watched literally every second of Quint and NOla when they were on GL and quit watching after they left. The show was not the same without them. They were romantic and comic at the same time and they were not the stereotypical soap opera couple; they were more multi-dimensional and human. Whether Nola was daydreaming herself into an old movie or Quint was being full of angst, whether Nola was scheming with GRacie to find out the location of her honeymoon or whether Quint was fooling the Reardons intobelieving he couldn't play poke, they were always watchable and the most fun couple on daytime. |

Wednesday, 19 July, 2006 11:00 Nola and Quint are my favorite soap couple ever--especially the movie fantasies and planning the wedding. Really would like to have them on dvd |

Monday, January 2, 2006 20:50 I never knew that this website existed. I was so happy to find out about it. I loved following the romance of Quint and Nola on Guiding Light. I think it was one of the best romances on Daytime TV. Ilene |

Wednesday, December 28, 2005 14:52 Amazing! I thought I was the only person who followed this storyline with enthusiasm, much less still remembered it! I still recall rushing home from high school to watch it every afternoon. What a fun site! Thanks so much! |

Sunday, December 4, 2005 13:07 Dear Nola . . I think you are pretty, popular and your hands look small like mine with red nails. I didn't like when Silas fed you the beans. I like when you kissed the boy. I'm seven years old and want to stay up until midnight watching your movie. Alex |

Wednesday, November 30, 2005 22:32 I am so impressed with the website and the fact that Quint and Nola may return to Guiding Light. I would love to see them as the romantic couple that would surely win the award for the Best Super Couple of all time. |

Monday, November 14, 2005 09:33 Fantastic website! I began watching GL in the Summer of ‘81 and stayed transfixed on it for a few years. Oddly enough, at the start I watched it for the whole Diane Ballard blackmail thing. She was the best villain I have ever seen on a soap. HOWEVER, at the same time Nola was running a close second by doing her nasty bit with the Morgan and Kelly story. The thing that always intrigued me was the way Lisa Brown turned that character around when Quint came along and made her a really likeable person. I loved the interaction and storylines revolving around Thornway and the entire gothic element. It ended up being the reason to tune in for me. It was not only the way these two actors played off each other, but the unique characters that surrounded them like Mrs. Renfield, Helena, Gracie and so forth. And yes, Floyd was pathetic! To this day I have never seen anything that comes close to matching that storyline. I had them all on tape at one time, but they were lost in the course of several moves throughout the years. Last time I watched GL was about 10 years ago and it might as well have been called The Reva Show. It was awful. I haven’t tuned in since. I would definitely tape it again if Nola and Quint came back as originally written. Thanks for the website and bringing back memories of excellent writing and quality characters. :-) |

Friday, November 11, 2005 15:42 sure do miss you're characters on Guiding Light! It's a shame that the writers have left the original families in the dust with no reminders. It's like they are trying to re-write the history. There are many many of us fans out here who have watched & remember the 'good ole days' & wish that we could have more of those. I wish Lisa Brown & Michael Tylo all the best & hope to see them again! |

Wednesday, October 19, 2005 00:44 I love this website. I was a diehard G.L. fan back in the day of Nola/Quint and would love to see them come back and will definitely drop a letter to the writers. They were such a fun couple to watch. |

Wednesday, September 28, 2005 15:11 Hi! Excuse me for my bad english...I've been watching to The Guiding Light for all the eighties here in Italy (in italian the title is translated into Sentieri) and the best characters of all in my opinion are Reva, Quint, Nola and Lujack! A very nice site...Thanks for all the nice memories that rose up in my mind... |

Tuesday, July 19, 2005 16:37 I was a good bit older than most Quola fans at the time.(40 years old!)
I still think they were the best thing to happen to soaps.
I no longer watch soaps, but if Quola returned I would be recording their every scene. |

Wednesday, July 13, 2005 21:30 I wanted to say what a Joy it is to look back at some of Guiding Light's best days. Quint and Nola were the most unique and popular couple in Daytime. Douglas Marland's storylines involving the couple were masterful. The chemistry between Lisa and Michael was flat out magical. While viewing this site it made me long for the days when Quint and Nola's adventure's and romance took them all over the globe. How I miss them so! I'm hoping that by some miracle, we will again see this couple in all their glory and a new beginning dawn for Guiding Light. |

Wednesday, June 1, 2005 12:28 I just wanted to let you guys know how much I'm still enjoying this website. I haven't been here as much as I'd like because of work. But I wanted to once again give all of you a thumbs up. I'm also really looking forward to Quola being on Guiding Light once again. I just hope TPTB come up with a decent storyline to keep them on the air this time around. But still, I'm looking very forward to seeing what they come up with this time around. Kathy ;-) |

Saturday, May 14, 2005 19:55 Fantastic job with the new look!!! I miss Quint and Nola; although Pamela Long was a gret writer in many ways, I wish she could've done more with these two. The sounds are fantastic, and the screen captures! Fantastic! |

Monday, April 18, 2005 20:36 Oh boy do I miss Quint and Nola. I used to tear home from work just to see what fantasy Nola had now. It was such a creative story and so much fun to watch them fall in love. Gl is not what it used to be. So sorry they felt the need to ruin the characters by having Quint cheap on Nola. He never would have done that..never. Thanks for all your hard work in bringing back such great memories. |

Monday, April 18, 2005 15:07 I'm so excited about the possibility of Michael and Lisa returning to Guiding Light. I'm so thankful to both D and VL for keeping us informed about the possibility of the return of Quola!!! :D Kathy |

Monday, April 18, 2005 12:37 We want to clarify that we were not implying that it was untrue that LB told MT that she would come back to GL. We are simply hesitant to get hopes up if LB is still saying she is not interested in on-camera work. Apparently, she has absolutely told MT that she would come back if asked. The site will update you as we find out more. This is so early on to know anything for sure. But I am sure many will consider this, at least, encouraging news. The pseudo Quint and Nola story in the 90s was, perhaps, one of the most botched reprises ever of a great super couple, and if it could be fixed correctly, it would be a feather in the cap of this show and its current regime. |

Sunday, April 17, 2005 12:49 That's exciting that Michael Tylo could come back to Guiding Light. I totally agree that it would have to be with Nola. Can't someone talk Lisa Brown into it? Reva can't be the only cool 50 year old broad on the show!!! Doesn't she know how much people miss her? I would love her no matter what!!!! Just the thought of Nola and Quint back on the Light together is thrilling. I am going to listen to Pachelbel right now and look at your site. :D |

Not sure if any of you remember me (PMD), but we used to have some great times chatting about our favorite super couple. Glad you're back, glad to see some new stuff-- and good grief do I miss Quint & Nola!!!!!! PMD :) |

Thursday, March 31, 2005 15:50 Hi there, I'm beginning to love this site even more than the original one. VL and D are doing a remarkable job of recapturing Quinton and Nola in the way I best rememember them. Sorry, VL I forgot to wish you a very happy birthday. Keep up the good work. I know you're going to love life more and more as time goes on. I just wish I was in my 20's again. As far as the site is concerned, I love all your creative additions to it. You truely do appreciate Michael in all his roles and that includes Quinton Ryan Chamberlain. Keep up the great work. D, I am especially enjoying reading the story you have created. Even though we disagree from time to time, you have managed to stay true to the original concept of the characters. I only wish I could contribute more to it than I have. |

Monday, March 28, 2005 15:32 Welcome to our brand new guestbook. We hope you enjoy our site. We know the site is intense, but why do something half-assed? Our techy guru, VL is turning the big 2-0 today, so I must wish her Happy Birthday. Most Quint & Nola fans are just a smidge older than that. What more can I say that has not already been said with 92.14MB of material? Quint & Nola still rock in my unjaded, teenage heart. And Silas seems a lot hotter now that I am older. F is still vomititeous. Dibba, 38 |
