| I watched Nola and Quint when I was in high
school. I used to enjoy watching Nola roam Quint's mansion with her
friend Gracie. It is a shame to see Nola so boring when she is such an
excellent actress. I'd like the writers to research GL's ratings back

54yr. ago. We went along to watch them on TV from 1951,I believe, It is
the only Soap that we stayed with. He watched it on his deathbed, when
Reva and Josh were returning to the show.. His final viewing was on March
6,1996. I continue the ritual of stopping every thing to watch the show.

was not watching the show during the Quint & Nola days but I think
that from what I have seen in the last couple of months they should be
together. I remember Nola from the days of Kelly and Floyd and I have
always loved the character. Lisa Brown is great. She not only created
Nola but also Iva Snyder on As The World Turns and there isn't anyone
besides Lisa Brown who could play either part.

especially remember the wedding scene where Quinton and Nola were about
to get on the hot air ballon and Vanessa almost stuck Nola with a pin

I think Nola is my all time favorite character. From the begining when
she was trying to trap Kelly I liked her..But she really does belong
with Quinton. I liked the mystery of the story line that got them
together and Nola's incredible imagination. They are the best.

I am SOOO sorry that the "Quola" story has been discontinued. It was
the ONLY reason that I watched Guiding Light. Now I have stopped watching
it altogether. I wish Michael and Lisa all the best of luck in the future.

It's about 14 years that I'm watching "Sentieri" that is the Italian way
to call "The Guiding Light". They are just coming back and I like the way
they work. We are a little bit in late here in Europe.

to the show during its glory days. After 20 years of watching GL,
I'm very close to giving up. I've stuck with it through the good
and the lousy but the horrible way the non-existent Quola storyline
was handled has just done me in. There's so much potential. How can

this page answered a lot of questions and helped refresh my memory. I
love Quint and Nola and was very disapointed that Michael Tylo was let
go. Quola was the only reason I watched the show. I identify with Nola.
She's a dreamer and sweet. She also loves and has fantasies about
movies like someone else I know. Quint is straight out of a romance
novel. He's cultured, suave and charming. And he's not that bad to look
at either. It was obvious from their coutship that his whole world
revolved around her and vice versa. If only real life could be so
magical......

mad at TPTB and the other fans who don't see that Q is the smartest man
in Springfield and a breath of fresh air even in his meaningless stint
this winter. Classic example of talented actors paralyzed by utterly
uninspired writing. I'm tired of GL doing this half-assed. Really
depressing in this case given how much fans were anticipating it.

I have always been a true Quint and Nola fan. I tried to watch the
actors when they were on other soaps but they were best when they
played opposite each other. I remember her dream sequences, her
infatuation with Kelly, her discussions with Bea and Mo and THEN her
joining together with Quint. The fire, passion and chemistry they had
back then was second to none. I was so excited when GL brought back
Nola and held my breath until Quint returned. So here's to Quola, long

back then. I was so disappointed when they brought Nola back without
him. I like Nola too. I think she's one of the most real characters on
the show. I never saw Quint as the affair type. I thought they betrayed
his character by making him a typical midlifer.
