FANTASY NEWSFLASH, APRIL 2005

In an effort to maintain the rich history of Guiding Light and in the heels of the much anticipated return of veteran Maeve Kinkead (Vanessa Chamberlain Reardon), Executive Producer Ellen Wheeler has announced that soap veterans Michael Tylo and Lisa Brown (Quint and Nola Chamberlain) will also be returning to the soap in June 2005 for a limited four week run.

Wheeler explained, "We feel terrible that the fans of Quint of Nola were so hurt by the incomplete reconciliation of these fabulous historical characters of Guiding Light. And we are thrilled that both Lisa and Michael have agreed to come back for this romantic and tender reunion of one of the show's original great supercouples. I also love seeing Maeve and Lisa working together, so get ready for that reunion as well."

Wheeler continued, "Since these characters won't be a part of the current longterm fabric of the show, we are going to have a lot of fun with them in a short amount of time. We have hired top industry professionals to highly style the characters just as fans might imagine they would look 20 years later. Top stylists and beauty professionals have looked at their old footage from 81-83 and then will update them to 2005 with more mature, but still very fun, sexy and character appropriate looks. Specifically, Patricia Fields, known for styling "Sex and the City," will be styling Nola and the famous Louis Licari will restore her locks to their trademark auburn. It is all very exciting to watch the process. They are going to look fab and the viewers will love the story."

Wheeler further hinted, "Of course, we also have other more long term reasons for temporarily bringing back Quint and Nola. We have big plans for their children, AJ and Anastasia who will be sticking around Springfield long after mom and dad have dashed off on another exciting archaelogical adventure
