Scene transcribed, screen caps & sounds in Retro Quola

Nola started out as the mysterious Mr. McCord's executive household supervisor and archaeological assistant. This scene on video is shortly after Nola gave birth to her daughter, Kelly Louise (later Anastasia). Kelly Louise is still in the hospital; she was born prematurely. Here, the viewer gets a taste of some of the early chemistry between Nola and Quinton. The scene starts out where Mr. McCord is furious with Nola when he discovers that she knocked over some acid in his lab. The spilling of the acid happened while Nola was snooping around, checking out the secret passageway. Quint is partially upset, because he suspects Nola was nosing around, but mostly he is upset that Nola could have been seriously hurt, and he has already developed strong feelings for her. He blasts Nola for her carelessness in the lab, but then masterfully Nola turns the situation around by crying and suggesting she move out because she can't keep "hush hush" about everything and it is just too much aggravation. We see Quint's anger immediately dissolve in the face of her feminine wiles, and then he more or less begs Nola for forgiveness and to stay on at Thornway Road. It was beautiful, and an early sample of the incredible chemistry between these characters and actors. So much more was to come, and that was clear from this wonderful scene in the lab!! Who ever would have thought a lab could be so ripe with romance??
